Mornings On Lugard Rd
Lugard Rd is most often visited during the afternoons and evenings as it offers a spectacular view of Hong Kong. The goal of this project is to display the brief moments before and after sunrises. To achieve this goal, I made a commitment to wake up every morning at 5am and make my way to Lugard Rd, rain or shine. For the first week, I didn't bring my camera along as I wanted to immerse into the environment. Once I have a few composition in mind, then the camera had been by my side and waited for the perfect moment.
As the sun approaches the horizon, artificial lights fade away, shadows disappear and natural colours start to shine.
